Harry T. Cook is a retired Episcopal priest, author of six books, and a popular Internet presence with weekly essays read by people on four continents. He is best known in Michigan for his award-winning weekly column on ethics and public policy that ran in the Detroit Free Press from 1979 to 1993. Cook is the principal lecturer in The Thursday

“Expanding Horizons for Girls in Science and Mathematics” encourages girls to consider STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) careers.  Hands-on workshops provide opportunities for students to explore opportunities in these fields.  Explorathon is a joint project of AAUW and the Cranbrook Institute of Science.
